Will Higman Motorsports announces the formation of T4 USA. This is a group of American racing professionals dedicated to building domestic interest in the Dakar Rally specifically the T4 Race Truck class. The group is led by Will Higman a U.S. desert racing veteran and two time Dakar Rally T4 participant.
“The Dakar Rally is more than a race, it is a world renowned test of off road racing skill and endurance,” said Higman. “The Dakar is designed to push the limits of both man and machine.” Commanding global respect, participation, and with over one thousand hours of TV broadcasts viewed in one hundred ninety countries the viewership rivals that of World Cup soccer. Aside from the home and online viewing audience exposure is extended to the five million spectators along the route.
“It’s our belief that The Dakar is an excellent opportunity for U.S. companies to test products and showcase their brand to the emerging economies of South America and beyond.”
